CRM on Microsoft Azure Cloud: Nimble has migrated its CRM platform from AWS to Microsoft Azure. market-leading SaaS CRM from AWS to Microsoft Azure. The migration, completed in less than four weeks without a hitch, aligns with Nimble’s business model. Indeed, Microsoft is a global Nimble reseller, and Nimble is positioning itself as a simple CRM for Office 365 and small workgroups.

The world’s seas are increasingly awash with data. There are sensors attached to buoys, autonomous sail drones, ships and satellites, each churning out a constant stream of information about water temperature, wave height, currents and more.
A new strategic alliance launched by Gov. Jay Inslee’s office wants to harness all of that data —and collect even more of it — to slash the maritime industry’s carbon emissions and increase its efficiency by 2050.

The CRM company Nimble has announced a better way for business departments to stay in sync. What’s interesting is it works with popular systems like Office 365 and Dynamics 365. That way, everyone gets the same information across departments.

Nimble, The Simple CRM for Office 365 and G Suite, today announced it has been named a CRM Market Leader for Customer Satisfaction for the seventh consecutive year, according to G2 Crowd (the world’s leading business software reviews platform). Ratings are based on verified user reviews and market presence.

The company’s platform, MarineInsight, collects reams of data from various pieces of ship machinery and analyzes it with on-board computers and in the cloud. The software then suggests actions based on any problems it finds or anticipates; it can help reduce fuel costs or prevent engine failures, for example. The startup has customers in commercial shipping, fishing and passenger industries.

As a Microsoft partner that focuses on small and medium sized companies my firm has had little to offer our clients when they ask about CRM options other than to direct them elsewhere. Their flagship Dynamics products are excellent, but they're pricey for a small company and clearly built to compete against the likes of Salesforce and Oracle.
There used to be (shudder) the Outlook Business Contact Manager but that application was thankfully discontinued after a few years of hair-pulling performance and other issues. Office 365 comes with something called the Outlook Customer Manager which is a shadow of what a good CRM system should provide and frankly has not received much attention from Redmond.
